THE ROSES I SMOKED
The roses you gave me
trying to conquer me
I dehydrated all week
To do my Kumbaya.
I waited impatiently
Counting time to smoke
With the guys on the corner
For my unwind.
And in this dance with Pombogira
I spin to bewitch
With the mysteries of this incense
To calm the mind.
But it's good to be smart
With these things from the heart
'Cause I know what's right
For our passion.
Because of the flowers, I'm a poet
And with them I will poetize
an innocent poetry
For you to connect.
You know that...
I have a crush on you
